Barry Gallagher Auto

This wildly patterened damascus and Mother of Pearl auto was crafted by Barry Gallagher. Barry made some highly figured damascus, then heat colored and blued it to bring out all the blues, purples,and silvers that comprize the blade and bolsters.He then chose some superior grade Mother of Pearl for scales and textured them in a simple but pleasing pattern. The spacer-bar is filed in a wild arrangment that must have driven him crazy trying to execute it. He also filed the liners, pivot pin,release button, and all the screws. The final result--an eyecatching, beautiful knife, that operates as good as it looks. It's more than just a MOP auto, it's a Barry Gallagher Mother of Pearl Auto!
